RAG is a publishing problem

Retrieval quality follows the documents you choose to publish into the index, not the model name.

An index is a publication

If a draft policy is in the index, the assistant will treat it as current. Someone has to own what is published.

Deleting a file in a drive does nothing if yesterday's chunks are still stored. Unpublishing has to be a job, not a hope.

Show the document date next to the citation. A correct quote from an old policy is still the wrong answer.
