What we mean by an operable system
Software is operable when the people who own it can deploy it, explain it, and recover it without calling the original authors.
Operable is a product quality
A demo can look finished and still be fragile. We treat logging, migrations, backups, and a clear place to read errors as part of the product, not as a later phase.
Prefer boring operations
The Gynvix platform foundation uses PostgreSQL, Redis, and containers because they are widely understood. A future product can choose a different database or service when its requirements justify the split.
No hidden production switches
Configuration belongs in the environment, not in source control. Development credentials stay on the machine that needs them.
